Legal services are provided to HITRANS by Highland Council and Administrative services by Comhairle nan Eilean Siar. These organisations will provide advice to the Partnership on whether any information may be withheld and any other matter relating to the Freedom of Information ( Scotland ) Act 2002, the Data Protection Act 1998 and the Environmental Information ( Scotland ) Regulations 2004. The Western Isles Council will also undertake Reviews in the event of any applicant wishing to request a review of a decision to withhold information.
