The Highlands and Islands Strategic Transport Partnership – HITRANS
Transport is vital to the economic activity and social stability of the Highlands and Islands. In recognition to the importance and shared issues faced by the communities of the Highlands and Islands the local authorities and economic development agencies of the region established HITRANS.
A principal objective of HITRANS has been to prepare and keep up to date a Regional Transport Strategy.
